- Use Natural Language Processing to identify trending topics
Scaling Sentiment: Using digital surveys to target vaccines
ODI supported the state’s COVID vaccine response by leveraging digital surveys and applying advanced statistical methods to estimate vaccine hesitancy at the zip code level. These data were a critical component of the advertising strategy and directly informed allocation of the vaccine to zip codes with the highest likelihood of vaccine acceptance.
“California’s Office of Digital Innovation, in partnership with California Department of Public Health, California Office of Emergency Services, and other stakeholders, is driving an effort to promote vaccination , particularly among underserved communities.”
