Dr. Marwaha is currently a chief general surgery resident physician at Georgetown University Hospital. His clinical focus is on minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He currently serves as an editorial board member of the academic Nature Portfolio journal Nature – Digital Medicine. Dr. Marwaha is widely recognized for his interdisciplinary approach, combining his medical expertise with advanced data science techniques to drive significant advancements in healthcare.
Throughout his career, Dr. Marwaha has led numerous high-impact projects, publishing extensively in leading medical and scientific journals. His focus on leveraging AI to improve patient outcomes, streamline healthcare processes, and enhance diagnostic precision has garnered widespread attention at several national and international medical conferences. His expertise will be invaluable to Syntasa as the company continues to push the boundaries of AI-driven healthcare solutions.
He holds an M.D. from Brown University, where he completed his undergraduate education in the prestigious Program in Liberal Medical Education (PLME). During his medical school training, he interned under renowned surgeons at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust in the UK. Dr. Marwaha attended Harvard Medical School where he obtained an MS in Biomedical Informatics and completed a postdoctoral fellowship focusing on the integration of AI into surgical practice. His early interest in the applications of digital technology in healthcare led to several impactful research projects and international collaborations.
